Shortlisted for two International Design and Architecture Awards
We are so delighted to announce that we were shortlisted for two International Design and Architecture Awards on the ten year anniversary of the awards. We were shortlisted in both the ‘Living Space UK’ category and the ‘Bathroom’ category for our Cheshire New Build project. Although we didn’t win this year, it was incredible to be sat amongst some of the best Interior Designers in the world.

Eporta talks @ 100% Design trade show
I was asked by the Eporta team, to come and talk on stage about the huge part of Interior Design that is administration, and how we are able to tackle this. We discussed everything from Social Media to using resources to help us along the way hopefully giving some insight into the huge business aspect of Interior Design.

Esporta Instagram takeover in Milan at Salone Del Mobile
I was asked to do an Instagram takeover of my day at Salone Del Mobile in Milan, giving the followers of @Eporta an insight into my findings, and interesting new design and suppliers that caught my eye. I loved all the stand design, inspiring me for joinery pieces as well as some really beautiful furniture designers using interesting materials and concepts.
We had a fantastic day exploring the best to offer in terms of Italian design and although it was impossible to fit the whole trade show into my takeover, I managed to get my top 15 finds onto the Eporta Instagram page. Have a look at some of my posts from the day below.

Paris Design Week
Usually January is such a busy time for us, but this year we managed to squeeze in two days between the madness to fly to Paris for Design Week!
Visiting Paris Deco-Off and discovering countless amazing fabric houses from all over the world that we have not yet had the pleasure of working with before now! This show is something we won’t be missing again!
On the second day we whizzed around Maison Et Objet trade show, totally overwhelmed with the mass of stands and variety of design to see. What I loved about Maison Et Objet was the sheer diversity in the show, not only exhibiting the highest end, super luxe designers but also many brands falling within a more affordable bracket, without compromise on design.
We can’t wait for the September Design week in Paris, for which we will be extending our trip this time and perhaps adding an accessories line to Harriet Hughes Interior Design. Let’s wait and see!…
